Release notes are intended to improve your experience of the CardPointe Mobile application by keeping you informed of the latest features and enhancements.
Android 3.5.0 (4/19/23)
Version 3.5.0 of the CardPointe Mobile app for Android is now available on the Google Play Store.
This update includes the following enhancements:
- Contactless Payments
This release includes support for contactless EMV (NFC) payments using the CardPointe Mobile device (ID TECH VP3300). This update allows your customers to pay my tapping an NFC-enabled card or mobile device (for example, using Google Pay or Apple Pay) on the CardPointe Mobile device.
Improved CardPointe Mobile Device Pairing and Bug Fixes
Android 3.4.3 (9/21/22)
Version 3.4.3 of the CardPointe Mobile app for Android is now available on the Google Play Store.
This release includes the following updates:
- Bolt is now CardPointe Integrated Payments
For users who connect to a countertop terminal to accept card-present payments, this update includes minor UI updates and branding changes.
- Bug fixes and enhancements.
iOS 3.7.1 (9/1/22)
Version 3.7.1 of the CardPointe Mobile app for iOS is now available on the Apple App Store.
This release includes the following updates:
- Bolt is now CardPointe Integrated Payments
For users who connect to a countertop terminal to accept card-present payments, this update includes minor UI updates and branding changes. - Bug fix related to expiration dates for stored profiles
iOS 3.7 and Android 3.4.2 (6/14/22)

Version 3.7 of the CardPointe Mobile app for iOS is now available on the Apple App Store.
This release includes important changes for handling stored credentials (customer profiles) for saving and reusing customer payment details.

After updating, the first time the CardPointe Mobile device pairs it may take longer than usual.

This update includes the following enhancements:

This release includes a new pop-up modal that provides helpful information for pairing the CardPointe Mobile device with the app. You can access this information from the Swiper Settings page, by clicking the information icon ( i ) in the top right corner.

This release includes the following updates:
- Support for the new CardPointe Mobile device (ID TECH VP3300).
